utilizing movement-centered literature to empower our community to engage in critical discourse and collaborate on transformative solutions

"You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive."

~ James Baldwin

Understanding where movements intersect…

A goal of our book club is to help our community in better understanding how our work and values intersect across movements and through understanding our history and the the struggles of our past, help us to discover solutions to the many pains and struggles faced here in the present.
